Portland has gone through several changes over the course of the last 18 months, with specific mention to marketing. The Rose Garden, at the dismay of a portion of the fanbase, has become the Moda Center after a 10-year agreement was signed in August. Portland has swapped their chalupas for McDonalds, and this past week Chris Haynes over at CSNNW has mentioned rumors of the Blazers changing their court to a two-tone look coming in 2014-15.
Portland’s CEO & President Chris McGowan, along with new VP of Marketing & Digital Dewayne Hankins, look to be slowly changing the look and overall marketing strategy for the Blazers as they move forward with Damian Lillard and Co.
Something Blazer fans have been talking about for some time is an update to the Blazers jersey design. It’s had a few alternate looks throughout the years, including retro looks and the new white fashion “Rip City” jersey. But with a new arena name, food, court, and promotions, one can only expect that the Blazers jersey is due for an update.
I took some time to alter and create some new styles that we could see in the future for Portland.
